Our Puppy Bites Series continues: Puppies, just like toddlers, can fight sleep and become over stimulated. In toddlers, we can tantrums etc., but in dogs the behaviour we see is an increase in mouthing, biting, chewing. All the behaviours that new puppy parents can find difficult. Help your puppy get enough sleep and you will see improvements. If you want to learn more, join our Thriving Puppies Program in person course in Croydon Park, South Australia. Puppy Bites Series: PlayAll people have a different play style with their puppies, but some of these styles can increase puppy mouthing/biting. Create a pattern and rules of play so your puppy knows what is ok and what may end the play session. If you have kids, ask if ok if your puppy (or eventually adult dog) was to play with your kids the same way, if not, don't teach the game!If you want to learn more, join our Thriving Puppies Program in person course in Croydon Park, South Australia.
